Renting a car in the Cayman Islands
With so many car rental companies out there, it can be difficult choosing the right one, but we can definitely save you a lot of time while searching, and when you have found the best deal, it is a simple process to book online.

If you are renting the vehicle for more than seven days, the daily rates are usually cheaper, and with a choice of limited or unlimited mileage, you can select the best package to suit your needs.
Important things for you to know when renting a car in Grand Cayman

  1. Benefits in the US
    Membership and Club Benefits
    If you are a member of Chairman's Club or any other membership offered in the US or any other country, it is likely that most of these may not be valid in Grand Cayman. Be sure to contact the office of your preferred rental company in Grand Cayman to confirm.
  2. Insurance
    Purchasing Insurance for your rental car in Grand Cayman
    If you are thinking of using your credit card company or a third party website to book your vehicle, they may sell you insurance. Please check with your preferred insurance and the Grand Cayman office to ensure that you are covered outside of the US. Alternatively, you can purchase insurance directly from the rental company when you collect your car.
  3. Personalized Service
    VIP Fast Tracking
    If you are used to VIP treatment as per your (membership and club benefits) it is very useful to call the Office in Grand Cayman. Since the membership may or may not be valid, there may be an additional cost for fast tracking which may not be offered online.

    Minimum Age: 25 although, there may be some who allow drivers as young as 21. Please check with your rental car provider. Age 25 to 75. Credit Card Deposit Required

    Look right, DRIVE on the LEFT. Cayman has gone green! Roundabouts not only improve traffic flow (by keeping everyone moving) but they reduce emissions by limiting the amount of time cars are idling at stoplights, and they take no power to run. Speed limit is measured in MPH.

    Refueling before returning
    Be sure to fill the tank of gas before returning your rental. Cost of fuel ranges from $4-$6 and is double and added to your car rental.
